Dallas 1 wire DS 18S20 temp sensors can now be connected to the Probe System ..
Probes 5 + 6 of each Probe Zone Monitor can now be used to connect standard probes such as the led or video probe or the Temp Probe...

When the Probe System is requested the status of a probe via the serial interface it will automatically detect if a Temp Probe is connected to Probe Inputs 5 or 6 and reports its temp reading via the serial interface . Only one DS 18S20 can be connected to each Probe 5 or 6 input on each Probe Zone Monitor. This allows up to 16 Temp Sensors to be connected to the Probe System since up to 8 Probe Zone Monitors can be connected to the Probe system .

The Temp Probe connects to the Probe Zone Monitor using a standard stereo 3.5mm jack and connect as per the standard Probes....Tip = +5v , centre ring = Data and chassis = gnd.

Testing has been done using xPL since it has a Probe System plugin . Several sensors have been installed and the temp feedback is used to control sweep fans ...
