The HV I/O Expander is an 8 input or can be an 8 output module which connects to the Homevision Expansion Bus. Up to 8 of the devices can be connected to the Homevision Expansion Bus each with its own address which is set by 3 removable links.
Used as an Input module its similar to Port C of Homevision.
Used as an output module its similar to Port A of Homevision.

To get access to the i2c commands in Homevision the user must enable these commands. Information to do this is located in the document section.
